Job summary

ADP, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Receiving Associate to unload deliveries, inspect ingredients, verify shipments, and record data on a tablet. You will label and store materials following FIFO and allergen separation, report shortages, and support GMP and PPE compliance on a loading dock.

The role requires forklift certification, basic GMP knowledge, ability to read English for records, and attention to detail. Lifting up to 52 lbs and independent work are essential.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Unload deliveries using forklift and pallet jack.
• Inspect incoming ingredients and packaging for damage, contamination, temperature, and seal integrity.
• Verify shipments against POs and packing slips (items, quantities, lot numbers, expiration dates).
• Scan and enter receiving data on a tablet; complete receiving and food safety logs.
• Label and put away materials following FIFO and allergen separation.
• Report shortages, damages, and non-conforming materials.
• Follow GMP, food safety, and PPE requirements.

Job description

Shift schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30

The key duties:

• - Unload deliveries using forklift and pallet jack
• - Inspect incoming ingredients and packaging for damage, contamination, temperature, and seal integrity
• - Verify shipments against POs and packing slips (items, quantities, lot numbers, expiration dates)
• - Scan and enter receiving data on a tablet; complete receiving and food safety logs
• - Label and put away materials following FIFO and allergen separation
• - Report shortages, damages, and non-conforming materials
• - Follow GMP, food safety, and PPE requirements

The key requirements:

• - Prior receiving or warehouse experience (food manufacturing preferred)
• - Current forklift certification
• - Basic GMP knowledge and understanding of FIFO
• - Comfortable using a tablet or handheld scanner
• - Able to speak, read, and write English for label reading, completing records for food safety, allergen, and traceability programs
• - Strong attention to detail; able to work independently
• - Able to lift up to 52 lbs and work on a loading dock
