Job summary

Aerotek in Alameda, CA is seeking a detail-oriented Receiving Coordinator to support manufacturing operations by ensuring incoming materials are accurately received, inspected, and documented to support production and shipping requirements.

The role involves stock and organize materials, verify part numbers, conduct cycle counts, perform visual inspections, and enter transactions in inventory systems while maintaining a clean, safe workspace onsite from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in receiving, warehouse, inventory control, or manufacturing environments.
  • Experience with packing lists, inventory records, and documentation processes.
  • Familiarity with barcode scanners and warehouse equipment.
  • Basic computer and Microsoft Office skills.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, identify, organize, and stock incoming materials.

Receiving Coordinator

Location: Alameda, CA

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM

Start Date: Immediate Opening

We are seeking a detail-oriented Receiving Coordinator to support manufacturing operations by ensuring incoming materials, inventory, and production resources are accurately received, inspected, documented, and made available to support production and shipping requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive, identify, organize, and stock incoming materials
  • Verify quantities, part numbers, revisions, and supporting documentation
  • Perform inventory cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records
  • Conduct visual inspections of incoming materials and production components
  • Enter and track inventory transactions within inventory management systems
  • Utilize barcode scanners, hand tools, and other warehouse equipment
  • Support quality standards and documentation requirements
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace using 5S principles
  • Collaborate with manufacturing, inventory, and logistics teams to ensure material availability
Qualifications

This is an excellent opportunity to join a manufacturing team and play a key role in ensuring materials and inventory are accurately managed to support production operations. The ideal candidate can start immediately and is comfortable working onsite in Alameda from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM .

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Alameda, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
