Job summary

Century Fasteners Corporation, a global distributor of fasteners and components, is seeking a Warehouse Worker - Receiving Clerk in Liverpool, NY. The role handles picking, packing, weighing orders, and inventory updates using the P21 system, with forklift use as needed.

Responsibilities include daily cycle counts, verifying parts, shipping preparation, occasional deliveries, and acting as lead in the warehouse when the supervisor is absent.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Clean driving record to operate company vehicle.
• Ability to lift at least 50lbs.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders, pulling materials, packing boxes, placing orders in delivery area and completing the shipping process through UPS/FedEx or truck as needed.
• Perform daily cycle counts as assigned by Warehouse Supervisor.
• Perform visual check of parts being pulled to verify correct parts are being shipped prior to packing material for shipment.
• Responsible for all areas of preparing orders for shipping.
• Responsible for making deliveries in company vehicle when necessary.
• Serve as a lead person in the warehouse when the Warehouse Supervisor is out.
• Responsible for running the pick and transfer tickets as well as directing work flow so that customers are served as needed when the Warehouse Supervisor is out.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• General housekeeping (cleans equipment and work areas as needed).
