Job summary

Keefe Commissary Network, LLC is seeking operations team members to join a fast-paced warehouse in a correctional environment. On-site work, with DailyPay and full-time benefits from day one, and opportunities to cross-train across departments.

Responsibilities include inbound receiving, order picking, pallet building, loading trucks, and inventory control using WMS & scanning devices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• 1 year of warehousing experience required.
• EPJ experience required.
• Able to operate a dock stocker required.
• Able to operate reach truck and dock stocker forklift required.

Responsibilities

• Unload, receive and store product as part of inbound operations.
• Select product for individual customer orders as part of Commissary team.
• Build, stage, and load pallet orders on forklifts and material handling equipment.
• Load both third-party and internal delivery trucks.
• Manage inventory with counts and corrections.
• Utilize WMS and mobile scan guns for order delivery.
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace.
• Pursue forklift certification as needed.
• Cross-train across distribution departments.

About This Position

You will work onsite at a warehouse. You will report to the Operations Manager.

Develop teams and building careers are central to our success. As such, we have an opportunity to perform warehouse tasks from receiving product, preparing customer orders and shipping products to our clients. This is afull-time position, with some benefits starting your first day.

We expect our team to complete several processes and therefore believe in cross-training our team across the distribution departments. You can also specialize in a specific area.

The facility is an operational warehouse servicing multiple businesses, with opportunities to:

• Unload, receive and put away product as part of the Inbound Operations team.
• Select product for individual customer orders as part of our Commissary (KCN) team.
• Build, stage, and load pallet orders on modern forklifts and material handling equipment (MHE) to support our Bulk team.
• Load third-party and internal delivery trucks.
• Manage inventory to include counting product and correcting inventory.
• Use technology and learn WMS systems to deliver orders through the use of: mobile scan guns, modern material handling equipment, computers, tablets and more.
• Take pride in your surroundings by helping maintain a clean workspace.
• Ability to become forklift and material handling equipment certified.
• Other responsibilities as determined by our needs.

What You'll Need

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to work well with others in a dynamic, changing work environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
• 1 year of Warehousing experience is REQUIRED.
• EPJ (Electric Pallet Jack) experience is REQUIRED.
• Able to operate a Dock Stocker is REQUIRED.
• Current/Previous Inventory experience PREFERRED.
• Able to operate a Reach Truck AND Dock Stocker Forklift is REQUIRED.
• Ability to become forklift and material handling equipment certified.
• Familiarity with computers (including Microsoft Office programs) preferred.
• Ability to work: Monday - Friday 7 am - 3:30 pm
• Able to work weekends when needed.
