Job summary

Staffmark Group is hiring a Receiving Clerk in Moreno Valley, CA. You will load and unload trailers, scan merchandise with RF devices, and prepare pallets for shipment. The role includes picking, packing, restocking, and verifying item locations to ensure inventory accuracy in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

• Experience using RF scanners, warehouse systems, or inventory tracking systems is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Loads and unloads trailers, scans merchandise, builds pallets and labels merchandise.
• Picks, packs and sorts products.
• Re-bags/Re-tickets, replenishes and/or stocks merchandise as needed.
• Verifies the accuracy of production or location; may set or assign locations of products.
• Performs manual, computer or RF data entry in systems.
• Performs count of product / reconciliations (count cycle).
• Keeps work area neat and clean.
• Maintains appearance per department dress code.
• Works well with Associates, Leads, Supervisors and Managers.
• Follows location Safety Guidelines.

Job Duties

• Follow all Safety and applicable Policies and Procedures
• Loads and unloads trailers, scans merchandise, builds pallets and labels merchandise
• Picks, packs and sorts products
• Re-bags/Re-tickets, replenishes and/or stocks merchandise as needed
• Verifies accuracy of production or location; may set or assign locations of products
• Performs manual, computer or RF functions to enter data in systems
• Performs count of product / reconciliations (count cycle)
• Adheres to company policies and procedures; follows department training guidelines, best practices and operating procedures
• Keeps work area neat and clean
• Maintains standards of appearance according to department dress code
• Works well with fellow Associates, Leads, Supervisors and Managers
• Follows all location Safety Guidelines

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred unless otherwise specified.
• Additional education, certifications, or vocational training may be beneficial depending on the position.

Experience Requirements

• Previous warehouse, distribution, or material handling experience preferred.
• Experience using RF scanners, warehouse systems, or inventory tracking systems is a plus.
• Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks accurately and consistently.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Understanding of warehouse safety practices and procedures.
• Basic understanding of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach, and climb stairs throughout the shift.
• Ability to frequently use hands and arms to handle, move, and organize products.
• Ability to reach above shoulder level and below the waist as needed.
• Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 60 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to perform repetitive warehouse tasks while maintaining productivity and accuracy.
• Ability to work safely in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
