Job summary

Four Seasons Miami is seeking a Receiving Clerk to manage daily deliveries of food, beverages, and hotel supplies, verify orders, and maintain accurate records in BirchStreet and QTrack. You will support a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and contribute to high standards of quality and safety.

In this role, you will follow FIFO, assist with inventory, coordinate with various hotel departments, and help the Purchasing team during busy periods and events.

Qualifications

• Experience in receiving, storeroom operations, inventory control, or purchasing, preferably in hospitality.
• Knowledge of FIFO and food safety standards.
• Ability to learn BirchStreet and QTrack.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify daily deliveries of food, beverages, and hotel supplies.
• Verify deliveries against purchase orders and invoices, reporting any discrepancies.
• Process receiving transactions and maintain accurate records in BirchStreet.
• Receive, scan, and track packages using QTrack.
• Prepare and distribute supplies to hotel departments based on approved requisitions.
• Follow FIFO procedures and maintain clean, safe, and organized storage areas.
• Assist with monthly inventory counts, spot checks, and stock replenishment.
• Coordinate with hotel departments regarding deliveries and orders.
• Support daily Purchasing operations and other assigned duties.

About The Role

Receiving Clerk, you will be responsible for receiving, checking, and storing food, beverages, and packages. You will verify deliveries, acces to BirchStreet and Qtrack, maintain inventory records, and organize the storerooms. They may also assist with mail handling, deliveries to various departments, and maintaining records of shipping and receiving transactions.

What You’ll Do

• Receive, inspect, and verify daily deliveries of food, beverages, and hotel supplies.
• Verify deliveries against purchase orders and invoices, reporting any discrepancies.
• Process receiving transactions and maintain accurate records in BirchStreet.
• Receive, scan, and track packages using QTrack.
• Prepare and distribute supplies to hotel departments based on approved requisitions.

What You’ll Bring

• Previous experience in receiving, storeroom operations, inventory control, or purchasing, preferably in hospitality.
• Ability to receive, inspect, and verify food, beverage, and non-food deliveries against purchase orders, invoices, and hotel standards.
• Basic knowledge of food safety, proper storage procedures, temperature controls, and FIFO (First In, First Out) inventory rotation.
• Experience organizing storerooms, maintaining inventory records, and issuing supplies to departments using approved requisitions.
• Basic computer skills and the ability to learn systems such as BirchStreet and QTrack.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain clean and safe receiving and storage areas.
• Good communication skills to coordinate with suppliers, Culinary, Purchasing, and other hotel departments.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to safely lift, move, and organize merchandise and operate pallet jacks or hand trucks.
• A positive attitude, reliability, flexibility, and a willingness to assist with different Purchasing responsibilities.
• Commitment to following hotel policies, food safety regulations, and sanitation standards.
