Job summary

Bass Pro Outdoor World in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a Receiving Clerk to support the store's receiving area. You will unload trucks, stock merchandise, price and ticket items, and handle merchandise returns.

This full-time position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, basic math, and friendly, professional interaction with customers and teammates. You will help maintain a safe, clean receiving area and follow store policies while supporting a superior shopping experience.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks, stock merchandise, ticket merchandise and process returns.
• Maintain Receiving area layout as directed by Corporate Office.
• Interact with associates in a friendly, positive and professional manner.
• Keep work area clean, neat and safe.
• Follow all Company Policies and Procedures.
• Remain knowledgeable of advertised sales.
• All other duties as assigned.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Receiving Clerk performs work in the Receiving area of the store to include merchandise stocking, inventory control, pricing and, merchandise returns.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Supports a strong commitment to world class customer service and ensures a pleasant and productive shopping experience for all customers.
• Unloads trucks, stocks merchandise, tickets merchandise and processes returns.
• Maintains Receiving area layout as set by the Corporate Office.
• Interacts with other associates in a friendly, positive and professional manner.
• Keeps work area clean, neat and safe.
• Follows all Company Policies and Procedures.
• Remains knowledgeable of advertised sales.
• ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Degree Required: High school diploma or equivalent experience.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY:

• Ability to perform simple math (arithmetic, subtraction, multiplication)
• Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner to our customers and other associates
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Management, coworkers and customers
