Job summary

Five Below is seeking a part-time Warehouse Associate in New Jersey to handle inbound receipt, data entry, and put-away activities. You will work closely with a supervisor to resolve issues, maintain accuracy, and support safe, efficient operation in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires lifting up to 70 pounds, standing for the shift, and contributing to a team that values customer service and safety. Starting hourly wage is $18.50.

Qualifications

• Common sense required for following detailed written or oral instructions.
• Ability to key in data and operate a computer keyboard.
• Exposure to cold winters and hot summers.
• Forklift/Reach truck experience is helpful.
• Knowledge of physical inventory process is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed receipt of purchase orders via WMS.
• Confer with manager to rectify inbound problems (damages, shortages, nonconformance).
• Create door assignments for inbound loads.
• Generate/monitor put-away activity.
• Utilize resources to maximize Put-away and Receiving efficiency.
• Enter item Master and inner pack data accurately.
• Perform unit calculations in all units of measure.
• Lift up to 70 pounds and stay on feet throughout shift.
• Provide direction to associates to maximize productivity and safety.
• Promote customer service, safety, diversity and teamwork.

Job Responsibilities:

• Create door assignments for inbound loads

• Generate/monitor put-away activity

• Utilize resources appropriately in Put-away and Receiving to maximize efficiency

• Item maintenance entry to confirm master and inner pack accuracy

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, use of calculator helpful

• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and communicate in a timely fashion

• Ability to lift up to 70 pound boxes, and remain on feet for entire shift.

• Provide direction and leadership to associates in accordance with established policies and procedures while focusing efforts to maximize productivity and safety within assigned areas.

• Actively promote an environment and culture focused on customer service, safety, diversity and teamwork.
