The St. Louis Area Foodbank is seeking a Receiving Associate in Bridgeton, MO to unload and stage food products, move items to appropriate storage, and ensure accurate rotation.

You will work closely with the Receiving Coordinator and warehouse team to maintain safe, efficient operations. Responsibilities include handling pallets, labeling, and reporting discrepancies while following food safety guidelines and forklift procedures.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in warehouse, receiving, distribution, or material handling preferred.
• Ability to obtain forklift certification within 30 days, if applicable.
• Experience operating forklifts/pallet jacks strongly preferred.
• Ability to work regularly in refrigerated and freezer environments.

Responsabilidades

• Unload donated, purchased, and government food products from trucks under supervision.
• Move pallets and cases to staging areas and designated storage locations.
• Rotate products using FIFO/FEFO and maintain organized receiving areas.
• Support safety, accuracy, and efficiency in warehouse operations.
