Job summary

Bass Pro Shops is seeking a Stocking Associate to perform various merchandise stocking duties in Receiving and on the Sales Floor. The role supports customer service, back stock organization, shelf replenishment, pricing and signing, and general upkeep of work areas.

Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Strong communication, basic math, and familiarity with UPC codes are expected, with ability to operate the POS system and move goods safely.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to operate a computerized POS register system.
• Able to read labels and stock merchandise by UPC codes.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum Degree Required: High school diploma or equivalent experience.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY

• Ability to calculate figures such as discounts and make change to customers
• Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner to our customers and other associates
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Management, co-workers and customers
• Ability to operate computerized Point of Sale register system
• Ability to read label descriptions and stock merchandise by UPC codes
