Peachstate Hobby Distribution (PHD Games) in Sanford, FL is hiring a Receiving Associate to manage the intake of merchandise. You will unload shipments, verify deliveries, and organize stock while entering data into our inventory system.

We are currently looking for a dedicated receiving associate to join our team!

Hours of business: Monday – Thursday 9:00 am – 6:00 pm; Friday 9:00 am – 5:00 pm (40 hours per week).

This position could require extended hours, and occasional weekends as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour (Commensurate with experience)

The Receiving Associate plays a crucial part in all activities related to the receipt of incoming merchandise. This includes unloading shipments, verifying deliveries against purchase orders, inspecting items for damage, and organizing stock in the warehouse.

This role requires strong attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Essential Functions for the Receiving Associate include, but not limited to:

• Unload delivery trucks, inspect all incoming merchandise for damage or discrepancies, and sign for delivered products.
• Accurately enter receiving data into inventory management software, update inventory records, and attach the proper labels to products.
• Compare packing lists and purchase orders to confirm that the quantity and type of product received are correct.
• Adhere to all company safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized receiving dock and warehouse
• Support other departments as needed, which can include preparing outbound shipments, packing orders and assisting with restocking
• Sort and place products on racking/shelves or designated areas

Education:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent (required)

• Basic computer literacy for using inventory management software and data entry
