Job summary

Gary's Wine & Marketplace in the tri-state area is seeking a dedicated Receiver / Warehouse and Stock team member to join back-of-house operations. You will receive, unload, and store shipments while ensuring accuracy with purchase orders.

This role requires attention to detail, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and basic inventory tracking skills. You will collaborate with other departments to maintain inventory control and support smooth store operations.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in receiving, warehousing, or stock management preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in checking orders.
• Reliable and able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic computer skills for inventory tracking.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Receive and unload shipments promptly and accurately.
• Inspect incoming products for quality and accuracy against purchase orders.
• Properly store and organize inventory in the warehouse.
• Prepare stock for shelving and assist with stocking duties as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse and stock areas.
• Coordinate with other departments to fulfill stock and delivery needs.
• Perform periodic inventory counts and assist with inventory management.
• Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.

We are currently seeking a dedicated and organized Receiver / Warehouse and Stock team member to join our back-of-house operations. This role is crucial for ensuring efficient receiving, storage, and proper stocking of our products to maintain inventory accuracy and support smooth store operations.
