Job summary

Lowe’s is hiring for a Receiver/Stocker in Mississippi. You’ll unload deliveries, stock shelves, and prepare backrooms while keeping an orderly, safe work area. The role emphasizes safe lifting, teamwork, and friendly customer service to support daily store operations.

Shifts may include mornings, afternoons, evenings, or overnight hours based on store needs. Part-time, on-site work with comprehensive benefits and training opportunities is offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent years of experience in lieu of education requirement, if applicable
• Experience operating forklift/power equipment such as lifts, order pickers, and similar equipment
• Warehouse experience with inventory handling and stocking preferred

Responsibilities

• Deliver SMART customer service by assisting customers, answering questions, and offering support during projects
• Stock merchandise by unloading freight, down-stocking, organizing shelves, and setting up pallets
• Support store operations by verifying deliveries, completing dock prep, and using equipment like pallet jacks and forklifts
• Maintain a safe, clean environment by following proper procedures for hazardous materials, equipment use, and housekeeping
• Operate store equipment including scanners, Zebra phones, balers, and other tools as needed
• Pitch in as a team player to complete other assigned tasks
• Additional responsibilities for Pro Fulfillment Stores include: use the Orders App to pick and stage Flatbed Delivery orders; load delivery orders; rotate orders by delivery date; resolve customer order issues; communicate with customers to ensure delivery satisfaction
