Job summary

Lowe’s Companies, Inc. in Tallahassee, FL is hiring a Receiver/Stocker to receive freight, stock shelves, and organize merchandise while keeping the area clean and safe for customers. You’ll unload deliveries, handle equipment and hazardous materials safely, and prep your area for daily success.

This role is physical and fast-paced, with shifts across mornings, afternoons, evenings, or overnights depending on store needs, and a friendly, professional attitude toward customers and teammates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Safety conscious with attention to detail.
• Willingness to operate forklift/power equipment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver SMART customer service by assisting customers and supporting projects.
• Stock merchandise by unloading freight, down-stocking, organizing shelves and pallets.
• Verify deliveries, prep docks, and operate pallet jacks and forklifts.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment by following hazardous materials and housekeeping procedures.
• Operate store equipment such as scanners and balers as needed.
• Collaborate with team to complete additional tasks.
