Job summary

Publix Super Markets in Deerfield Beach, FL is seeking a forklift operator to receive, stock, and ship inventory in a fast-paced distribution environment.

You will load trailers, maintain accurate records, follow GMPs, and comply with safety guidelines while working varied shifts, including nights and weekends.

This role requires physical effort, ability to lift 75+ pounds, and a positive, team-oriented attitude.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must demonstrate safe working habits and GMP/Pre-Op guidelines.
• Must be able to lift in excess of 75 pounds.
• Must be able to work under stressful conditions and adapt to change for continuous improvement.
• Must possess or obtain a forklift license and operate a forklift.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift to receive, select and ship inventory following required procedures.

• Maintain records, track inventory items, and complete shipping/receiving documents.

Year End Bonus

To reward associates for their contributions to the company for the calendar year, Publix provides a Holiday Bonus in November. In the first year of continuous employment the bonus is equal to 15 hours of pay, and in the second year of continuous employment the bonus is equal to one week’s pay if associate remains employed through issue date of the bonus check. In subsequent years, the bonus is equal to two weeks’ pay.
