Clayton Manufacturing in Conway, AR is seeking a Receiver / Material Handler to support our home building operations. You will handle and place materials, assist plant needs, and ensure timely delivery to departments, with forklift duties as required.

Responsibilities

• Drive Forklift.

• Store materials in designated areas and ensure timely delivery to departments.
• Rotate materials by date and delivery.
• Check material quality and conditions upon receipt.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Summary

The Receiver / Material Handler is responsible for the handling and placement of materials needed within each department of the home building facility.

Duties / Responsibilities

• Drive Forklift
• Provide Materials to plant
• Receive material that are delivered from vendors
• Check off deliveries by company material to packing slips
• Put materials in respective areas
• Responsible for getting materials to respective Departments in timely manner
• Rotate materials by date and delivery
• Check quality and state of material that is being received
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent experience
• Previous construction or warehouse experience preferred
• Attention to detail and good communication skills
• Ability to work well within a team
• Experience operating a forklift or forklift certification preferred, training available

Physical Demands

• Must be able to lift and carry up to 75 lbs.
• Work may require stooping, bending, crouching, crawling, pushing, and / or pulling.
• Must be able to communicate with others via phone, email, and in person. Must be able to exchange accurate information with others.
• Work environment is not temperature controlled and may result in exposure to extreme temperatures.
• Work primarily involves sitting / standing, up to 4 hours at a time.
