PURPOSE

Handles daily receipt of merchandise received from vendor trucks by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Examines shipment for defects and shortages against receiving documents.
• Records factors causing goods to be returned.
• Unloads and moves incoming shipments to storage.
• Forwards approved receiving documents to appropriate department for processing.
• Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
