Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking an energetic Receiver to join the Converse University team in Spartanburg, SC. This full-time role involves unloading deliveries, verifying items, storing supplies, and supporting kitchen operations.

You will assist the Production Manager with ordering and inventory, help teammates locate ingredients, keep storage areas clean, and contribute to a positive, safety-focused work environment.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist in unloading delivered supplies and verify quality and quantities.
• Properly store delivered items.
• Help teammates locate and retrieve ingredients and supplies.
• Keep kitchen and storage areas clean, neat and well stocked.
• Assist with utility tasks on sales floor and kitchen.
• Assist Production Manager with ordering and inventory.
• Transport product and people within the site.

This is a full-time position in Spartanburg, SC.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assist in unloading delivered supplies/items, checking the quality of goods and ensuring the expected items and their amounts are received
• Properly store delivered items/supplies away
• Help other team members locate and grab ingredients/supplies as necessary
• Ensure that all kitchen/storage areas are kept clean, neat and well stocked
• Assist with utility tasks on sales floor and kitchen
• Assist the Production Manager with ordering and inventory
• Transport product and people to locations within the site

Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
