McLane Company, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Receiver in New Jersey to manage inbound product flow, inspect conditions, and ensure items are saleable. You’ll direct carriers, document issues, and maintain data entry and labeling tasks while adhering to safety and quality standards.

You will work a 2nd shift (evening) with a schedule that may include weekends, and you will be trained to operate required equipment within 30 days. A strong team and safety focus define our daily operations.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in receiving is preferred.
• Must read/write/understand English sufficiently to perform tasks and safety protocols.

• Inspect incoming product for condition.
• Document overages/shortages/damages, expiration dates, temperatures, trailer condition and pest evidence.
• Guide outside carriers and unloaders on sorting product.
• Maintain product integrity per McLane standards.
• Print pallet labels, enter purchase orders, assign doors.
• Cover for Receiving Clerk when needed.
• Comply with safety rules and attend to production standards.
• Meet assigned production standards and minimize mispicks, shorts, and damages.
• Follow directions and work independently or in a team.
• Be trained and certified to operate required equipment within 30 days.
• Follow attendance policy and flexible scheduling including early/late/weekend shifts.
• Work in temperatures from 38°F to 110°F.
• Stand, walk, bend, push, pull, and reach above the head for extended periods.
• Load/unload/deliver products as needed.
• Other duties may be assigned.

The Warehouse Receiver is responsible for receiving new and returned product as it enters the building; ensuring product is in saleable condition that is ready for resale and controlling the inbound flow of the dock.

• Pay Rate: $21.50 to $27.00 per hour.
• Sunday - Wednesday or Wednesday - Saturday from 2:00pm to Finish.
• Shift differential $0.50 per hour.

What You’ll Do As a Warehouse Receiver

• Examine condition of product as it arrives from various carriers.
• Document overages / shorts / damages, expiration dates, product temperature, trailer condition, evidence of pest infestation or product tampering.
• Direct outside carriers and contract unloaders on how to sort and segregate product.
• Follow and maintain product integrity as required by McLane Company standards.
• Print pallet labels, enter purchase orders into computer and assign doors.
• Cover for Receiving Clerk as needed.
• Comply effectively with company work and safety rules.
• Continually meet assigned production standards.
• Maintain a quality of work that limits mispicks, shorts and damages.
• Follow directions.
• Work independently and in a team environment.
• Be trained and certified to operate any required equipment within 30 days after hire.
• Comply with company attendance policy.
• Maintain a flexible work schedule to meet the changing needs of the Distribution Center; work schedules may require working an early shift, staying long for a late shift, and weekend work depending on the customer and operational requirements of the division.
• Work in warm and cold temperature conditions that may range from 38°F to 110°F.
• Stand, walk, bend, stoop, push, pull, grasp and reach above the head continuously for a period of two hours or more.
• Ability and willingness to select/load/unload and/or deliver ALL products that may be ordered by our customers.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications You’ll Bring As a Warehouse Teammate

• At least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Preferably have previous receiving experience.
• This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely. This includes understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role. The requirement is directly related to the nature of the job and ensures compliance with workplace safety and operational standards.
