Job summary

Carroll Construction Supply in Des Moines, IA, is seeking a rebar fabricator to operate a shearing and bending machine and assist in the warehouse. You will bend and cut reinforcing steel bars to required lengths and shapes and support the fabrication team in a fast-paced shop environment.

Ideal candidates are able to lift up to 50 pounds, show a positive attitude, and work well in a team. Bilingual ability is a plus but not required; background checks and drug testing are standard.

Carroll Construction Supply is hiring staff to work in the rebar fabrication area using machinery to bend and cut rebar, as well as for general warehouse trades.

The position involves operating a shearing and bending machine to cut & bend reinforcing steel bars to specific lengths & shapes.

You need to be able to lift at least 50 pounds.

A good worker and shop assistant with a positive attitude is a must.

Bilingual is a plus but not required.
