Job summary

Carroll Construction Supply is hiring for the rebar fabrication area in Kansas City, MO. You will operate shearing and bending machines to cut and shape reinforcing steel bars, and assist with general warehouse tasks as needed.

Responsibilities include loading trucks with a forklift and overhead cranes, bundling rebar bundles, and performing heavy lifting. Hours are 5:00am–3:30pm, Monday to Friday, with pay based on experience. The company is employee-owned and expanding across 35 locations.

Qualifications

• Must be able to operate heavy machinery (shearing/bending) to cut and shape reinforcing steel bars.
• Able to load and unload materials and trucks; operate forklift and overhead cranes.
• Must be able to perform heavy lifting and physical labor.
• Work as part of a safety-conscious team in a physical labor environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate shearing/bending machines to cut & bend rebar to specified lengths and shapes.
• Load trucks with a forklift and overhead cranes.
• Bundle and band rebar as required; perform heavy lifting and warehouse tasks as needed.
