Nucor Corporation in North Las Vegas, NV is seeking a Rebar Production Worker to Bend, Cut, Bundle and Load reinforcing steel bars per customer orders. You’ll learn on the job with a mentor and contribute to safe, efficient production.

Candidates must be 18+, legally authorized to work in the U.S., pass a drug test, and work overtime as needed. Prior construction experience is a plus; safety is the top priority and a strong teamwork approach is valued at Nucor.

Qualifications

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must be age 18 or over.
• This is a safety-sensitive position; you must pass a drug test, including THC.
• Must be able to work overtime when required.
• Able to read and comprehend basic safety and operational instructions.

Purpose:

A rebar production worker at Nucor Rebar Fabrication will bend, cut, bundle and load reinforcing steel bars in accordance with customers’ orders. You’ll work with a mentor who will train you on safely using all machinery.

Candidates must be able to work in an outdoor environment. Previous work in construction and landscaping is a huge plus; candidates with previous trades experience tend to be successful in the role and may have a significant opportunity for advancement within the organization.

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
