Job summary

You will receive training on applicable equipment, collaborate in a fast-paced environment, and grow with opportunities across offices, plants, and field sites. A strong work ethic, teamwork, and safety mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions
• Willing to cross-train as required
• Follow OSHA, EPA, and company safety policies
• Strong work ethic and practice safe working habits
• Team player in a fast-paced environment
• Operate fabrication machines safely without supervision
• Overtime availability
• Lift 50 pounds, climb ladders
• Read technical documents and service manuals
• Knowledge of common industrial concepts and procedures
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• 1 year heavy industrial environment preferred
• Punctual and reliable; stand for long periods

Responsibilities

• Attend training regarding applicable equipment
• Perform additional duties as needed
• Assist in loading fabricated rebar on trailers and unloading stock material from trailers
• Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition
• Operate production machines per established procedures; participate in safety programs and uphold safety culture
• Crosstrain on multiple machines
• Operate fabrication equipment including shears, benders, cranes, forklift, threaders, forging, welders

What You'll Do

• Attend training regarding applicable equipment

• Assist in loading fabricated rebar on trailers and unloading stock material from trailers

• Operate production machines in accordance with established procedures and guidelinesParticipates in the CMC Safety Programs and proactively upholds the CMC Safety Culture
• Crosstrain on multiple machines
• Operate rebar fabrication equipment, such as shears, benders, cranes, forklift, threaders, forging, welders, etc.

What You'll Need

• Must be able to work outside under all weather conditions to include working in the heat and cold weather
• Able and willing to cross train as required
• Follow OSHA, EPA, and company safety policies, rules, and regulations
• Possess a strong work ethic and practice safe working habits
• Ability to work as a team player in a fast paced environment, with strong work ethic, pay attention to detail and find root causes for issues
• Ability to operate fabrication machines in a safe manner without supervision
• Able to work overtime as business requires
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds, climb ladders and steps, work outside under all weather conditions when needed
• Must be able to read technical documents and service manuals
• Possess knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in the industrial field
• Excellent communication skills, in both written and verbal form are necessary to be successful in this role
• Minimum 1 year working with heavy industrial environment experience preferred but not required
• Must be able to work overtime, either planned or unplanned for emergency situations
• Must possess work ethic and ability to be punctual
• Stand for long periods of time

Your Education

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience preferred
