Qualifications

• Must follow safety programs and standards at all times.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic math skills for bar measurements are necessary.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety policies and uphold Nucor values.
• Demonstrate conduct aligned with company vision.
• Unload trailers and store materials.
• Operate shearing and bending machines to specified lengths and shapes.
• Use overhead crane to move, assemble and load materials.
• Operate Fabmatic machine for cutting/bending reinforcing bars.
• Load orders onto trailers for shipping.
• Operate a power saw for cutting bars to length.
• Apply epoxy coating using spray gun as required.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Assist others with tasks as needed.
• Work overtime and various shifts as required.
