KabaFusion in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Reauthorization Representative to obtain authorizations for ongoing patient care. This full-time role requires you to work with doctors, insurance plans, and internal teams to ensure timely approvals.

• Collects and processes co-insurance payments.
• Processes rejections from Part D payers.
• Investigates reimbursement issues from the Suspend Report.
• Works with Accounts Receivable to resolve insurance, claims or payment issues.
• Trains new team members.
• Assists in verifying benefits and eligibility.
• Updates physician information in computer system when applicable.
• Backs up to the Intake Department as needed.
• Other related duties as assigned by supervisor.

JOB SUMMARY

This position is responsible for obtaining authorization for ongoing patient care.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Education

Experience

• Previous work experience in the home health or medical fields.
• Minimum one (1) year of authorization, intake and eligibility required.
• Previous experience in the home infusion, home health or medical field preferred.

Skill and Competencies

• Demonstrate the ability to communicate well with both internal and external customers, verbally and in writing.
• Demonstrate the ability to organize, prioritize workload and critical thinking skills.
• Demonstrate the ability to handle multiple patient issues simultaneously.
• Demonstrate Mathematical skills sufficient to calculate price quotes.
