Job summary

Southland Industries is hiring a Technology Analyst to support project teams with spatial data collection, organization, and management for design coordination and construction planning. You will contribute to field and office workflows by assisting with data collection, equipment handling, and data management while developing scanning technology skills.

Key duties include on-site data capture with laser scanners and photogrammetry tools, assisting senior technicians, and ensuring data accuracy

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred in construction, engineering or related field.
• Basic understanding of scanning equipment (Faro/Leica) and surveying concepts.
• Proactive, independent mindset with willingness to learn new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Assist on-site data capture with laser scanners, photogrammetry tools, and cameras.
• Support senior technicians to ensure safety, scope, and schedule alignment.
• Perform field troubleshooting and routine equipment care during travel.
• Organize and transfer scan data for processing and QA review.
• Collaborate with project team and communicate field issues and next steps.
