RPG Squarefoot Solutions is seeking a Reality Capture Specialist to push laser scanning and BIM workflows on active construction sites in the DC metro area. You will capture, process, and deliver high-resolution spatial data to support safer, smarter decisions.

This role requires hands-on field work and proficiency with CloudWorx, Recap, Reality Cloud Studio, AutoCAD, and Revit, plus strong client communication and independent problem solving.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with 3D scanning on construction, surveying, or engineering projects.
• Hands-on use of laser scanning to support BIM coordination and workflow.
• Strong ability to communicate with clients and document results clearly.

Responsibilities

• Perform 3D laser scanning on active construction sites and in the office.
• Post-process data into deliverables like point clouds, floor plans, and BIM models.
• Train and support clients on CloudWorx, Recap, Reality Cloud Studio, and Revit.
• Generate project reports and maintain detailed documentation.
• Manage scanning equipment inventory and perform maintenance.

Location: DC Metro Area | Construction / AEC Industry

Hourly rate:** $20 ******** –****$25 (DOE)** | Full‑Time

Are you passionate about turning construction sites into intelligent digital environments? We’re looking for a Reality Capture Specialist who’s ready to push the boundaries of 3D scanning and digital twin creation for the built world.
This role is ideal for a tech-savvy professional who thrives in the fast-paced AEC (Architecture, Engineering, and Construction) industry and has hands-on experience using laser scanning to support construction workflows, BIM coordination, and site documentation.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll be the boots on the ground and the expert behind the screen—capturing, processing, and delivering high-resolution spatial data that powers smarter, safer construction decisions.

Core Responsibilities:

• Perform 3D laser scanning on active construction sites and in the office using advanced tools and workflows
• Post-process scan data to create usable deliverables such as point clouds, floor plans, and BIM models
• Train and support clients on platforms like CloudWorx, Recap, Reality Cloud Studio, AutoCAD, Register 360, and Revit
• Generate professional project reports and maintain detailed documentation
• Manage and maintain scanning equipment inventory and conduct regular equipment maintenance
• Inspect scan results and final outputs to ensure they meet construction-grade quality standards
• Prioritize and log jobs according to project schedules, site constraints, and deliverable deadlines

• Proven experience in 3D scanning for construction, surveying, or engineering
