Job summary

Keysight Technologies in Colorado Springs is seeking an experienced WPF GUI Engineer to design and build the user interface for a real-time oscilloscope platform on embedded Windows hardware. You will own the UI rendering of high-speed waveform data, live measurements, and instrument controls.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in WPF, strong C#/.NET skills, MVVM expertise, and a proven ability to deliver responsive, multithreaded UI for data-intensive instruments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience building WPF applications.
• Strong proficiency in C# and .NET, with real-time UI code.
• Deep MVVM, data binding, dependency properties, and XAML templating.
• Experience with multithreading and producer/consumer patterns for live data.
• Debugging and profiling for latency, frame timing, and memory in long-running apps.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement WPF interfaces for real-time waveform display.
• Implement instrument-control UI: trigger configuration, timebase/voltage scaling, channel setup, cursors, and measurements.
• Design UI for deep memory acquisition, waveform decimation, zoom/pan across captured records.
• Build touch- and knob-friendly interfaces for front-panel hardware controls.
• Ensure UI stability and responsiveness during sustained real-time operation.
• Implement MVVM architecture separating acquisition data models from rendering and control logic.
