New York Power Authority in Massena, NY seeks a Lead Engineer to drive design, implementation, and maintenance of OT control systems (SCADA/EMS/DCS) for power assets. You will lead field inspections, develop cyber security policies, and coordinate cross-disciplinary project teams.
Requirements include a BS in Engineering or CS and 5+ years of related experience; NY State Engineer in Training is preferred. A valid driver’s license is required, with approximately 20% travel within NY.
Leads research, design, and development activities to improve NYPA's energy services. Designs, constructs, and tests equipment. Ensures that standards of quality, cost, safety, reliability, timeliness, and performance are met throughout all engineering activities.
Engineering, design, and leading the implementation and maintenance of supervisory control systems (SCADA/EMS/DCS), networks, communications and machine control systems (PLC/DCS/HMI/RTU) in support of NYPA G&T assets.
The New York Power Authority is committed to providing fair, competitive, and market-informed compensation. The estimated salary range for this position is: $95,000- $199,000. The salary offered will be determined based on the successful candidates' relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
