Job summary

Apple Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer to build the engine that powers real-time experiences for Siri and Search for millions of users globally.

You will ingest and deliver high-quality user experiences using distributed systems and real-time data pipelines, collaborating with ML and software teams to implement robust search capabilities. You will work on advanced machine-learning models, ranking, and query understanding, contributing to the AI assistant experience across Apple products.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of industry experience in collaborative environments.
• Experience writing high-performance server software on Linux/Unix.
• Proficient in two of the following languages: C/C++, Go, Python, Java, Scala.
• BS in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, Information Retrieval, Data Science or related field or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop the engine powering real-time experiences for Siri and Search.
• Collaborate with ML and software teams to improve retrieval, ranking, and user experience.
• Build scalable distributed systems to support Apple’s search products.
