Job summary

SGS Consulting seeks a Software Engineer to participate in developing radar software and sustaining existing radar systems. You will work in a small team to develop, maintain, and integrate software with hardware for real-time and offline applications using C++ and MATLAB.

The role requires strong programming practices, testing, and documentation, with a focus on delivering a TRL 7 prototype in an operational environment for OTH radar and related systems.

Qualifications

Expert in MATLAB and C++.
Experience with AI/ML.
Experience with radar software integration.
Experience with RTI DDS architecture.
Experience with Fourier transforms and filtering.
Experience in OTH Radar.
Radar tracking and radar signal processing experience.
Strong software development lifecycle practices.
Troubleshooting and fault remediation.
Familiarity with parallel processing.

Responsibilities

Develop and sustain radar software in a small team.
Integrate with hardware for real-time and offline apps.
Test and document software modifications and algorithms.
Package and deliver software for use by others.
Follow good programming practices and testing.
