Job summary

Delta Electronics Americas is hiring for a role designing and developing real-time control software for Microgrid Controller systems. You will integrate control laws with deterministic embedded code and validate on HIL platforms, coordinating PCS, BESS, PV, and generators.

The role requires hands-on experience with RTOS or PREEMPT_RT Linux, power-electronics control loops, and industry protocols; the team emphasizes safety-critical, deterministic execution.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, Controls, or Computer Engineering (or equivalent).
• Experience with real-time embedded software in C/C++ on RTOS or PREEMPT_RT Linux.

Responsibilities

• Develop the MGC real-time control application on a deterministic RTOS/RT-Linux target within tight loop timings.
• Implement secondary control and dispatch logic at millisecond scales.
• Build protection coordination logic with fast, hardware-tied trip paths.
