Focus Interpreting is seeking an English-Spanish interpreter to join our Utah team. The role involves providing accurate interpretation to facilitate clear communication across various settings.

Responsibilities include real-time interpretation at meetings and events, researching relevant terminology, and maintaining confidentiality with a high level of professionalism. Prior interpretation experience, especially in medical or legal contexts, is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bilingual English/Spanish with strong oral and written communication skills in both languages.
• Cultural awareness and ability to convey meaning across languages.
• Experience preferred in interpretation, especially in medical or legal contexts.

Responsabilités

• Interpret real-time spoken communication during meetings, conferences, and events.
• Utilize industry-standard techniques and technology to deliver high-quality interpretation services.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism on all assignments.
• Research terminology and prepare effectively for each assignment.
• Continuously develop language skills and cultural knowledge to improve service delivery.
