Epsilon Systems Solutions, Inc. in Largo, FL is seeking a Software Engineer Intern to join our real-time embedded C++ development team. Work includes designing, coding, and testing features for radar systems under Agile/SCRUM in a Linux environment.

You will write efficient, well-documented code, assist in debugging, and collaborate with a small team on all phases of the development lifecycle. This internship targets BS students pursuing CS with 0-1 year of C++ experience.

Qualifications

• Pursuant to government requirements, all applicants must be U.S. citizens.
• Pursuing BS in Computer Science or a related discipline with 0-1 year in C++.
• Experience with real-time or embedded software development.
• Familiar with Agile development methods (Scrum, CI, automated testing).

Responsibilities

• Write code for radar systems powering detection, targeting, tracking, and self-protection.
• Improve code efficiency through signal processing and performance tuning.
• Write well-designed, testable and efficient code meeting requirements.
• Collaborate in an Agile/SCRUM team through all development lifecycle stages.
• Assist in troubleshooting defects and deploying fixes.
