Job summary

Boeing is seeking an Associate Real-Time Software/DevSecOps Support Engineer to join the SPD AAS team in Richardson, TX. You will support the P-8A Poseidon mission systems software lifecycle, from design to maintenance, enabling warfighters to interact with sensors and training systems.

The role involves collaborating with hardware, software, and systems engineering, developing and integrating software components, and advancing DevOps across secure environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a technical field from an accredited program.
• 1+ years of real-time software development experience.
• 1+ years in C/C++, Java, or Linux environments.
• 1+ years with Kubernetes, Istio, Rancher, Openshift, Git, Helm, Ansible, Chef, Docker, Prometheus, Grafana, or AppDynamics.
• 1+ years of Automation and CI/CD practices and design patterns.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, troubleshoot, and test P-8A AAS Mission Systems and Training Systems software with hardware and systems engineering.
• Develop, document, and maintain architectures, requirements, interfaces, and designs for software systems.
• Develop and maintain code and integrate software components into a functional system.
• Assist with test procedures and documenting results to ensure requirements are met.
• Develop and enhance DevOps operations in multiple secure environments.
