Job summary

An information technology firm located in King George, VA, is seeking a Software Developer to design, code, test, and evaluate applications for a Navy customer. The ideal candidate should be proficient in Java 11+ and/or C++11, with experience in Agile Scrum environments. A comprehensive benefits package is offered, along with a competitive salary range of $58,400 – $116,900 per year. This position requires a Secret clearance and some travel within the continental US.

Qualifications

• Proficient with Java 11+ and/or C++11 (minimum).
• Proficient with software development utilizing Windows 10 and/or Red HAT 7.9.
• Basic knowledge of Test-Driven Development software practices.
• Experience on an Agile Scrum team.
• Basic knowledge of Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelining.

Responsibilities

• Develop and support C++ and/or Java software corrections and enhancements.
• Assess and root cause reported computer program problems.
• Perform data analysis to verify correct computer program performance.
• Work with advanced virtualized technologies.
• Support land-based and underway testing.
