Job summary

AnaVation is seeking a Cyber Data & Telemetry Engineer to design and scale our security data pipelines. You will build streaming architectures, normalize security schemas, and optimize a cloud data lakehouse for security operations and threat hunting.

Role requires TS/SCI with CI Poly, a Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of related experience, and active security certifications. Proficiency in SQL, KQL, or Python is expected, with strong cloud data architecture skills.

Qualifications

• Clearance required for U.S. federal work (TS/SCI)
• Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years related experience
• Active certifications in security and cyber defense programs by onboarding date
• Hands-on experience with stream processing and real-time enrichment
• Familiarity with OCSF/ECS and cloud data lakehouse design

Responsibilities

• Build and manage high-throughput telemetry routing and stream processing systems.
• Implement real-time log parsing, filtering, and enrichment pipelines.
• Standardize security logs using OCSF/ECS.
• Design and optimize cloud data lakehouses and Parquet storage.
• Leverage frontier LLMs to accelerate data pipelines and query optimization
