SpaceX is seeking a Beam Planning Software and Network Software Engineer for Starlink. You will build real‑time software to select beam configurations, participate in architecture reviews, and create prototypes to validate concepts.

The role emphasizes delivery across virtualized and in‑orbit testing with a focus on low‑latency, high‑bandwidth satellite networks. You will also develop deployment tools, analyze data, and contribute to experiments that improve customer internet experiences

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, math, or science discipline; OR 2+ years of professional software development experience.
• Development experience in assembly, C, or C++.

Responsibilities

• Develop highly reliable, real‑time software that determines beams to form for optimal user experience.
• Participate in and lead architecture, design, and code reviews.
• Develop prototypes and experiments to prove key design concepts.
• Develop tools for software development, deployment, data analysis, visualization, and test execution across environments.
