CohnReznick is seeking a Senior Associate to join the Commercial Real Estate Appraisal team within Valuation Advisory Services. The role is hybrid, with in-person collaboration encouraged about 3 days per week across offices.

The successful candidate will have 3+ years in CRE appraisals, strong financial modeling, and licenses. A CG trainee license is required or in progress; ARGUS, CoStar, and MLS proficiency are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business Administration, or related field is required.
• 3+ years of experience performing commercial real estate appraisals and consulting analyses are required.
• Must hold or be working on a certified general appraisal trainee license at a minimum; CG real estate appraiser license is a plus.
• Proven experience in financial modeling and real estate, including ARGUS.

We currently have an exciting career opportunity for a Senior Associate to join the Commercial Real Estate Appraisal team in our Valuation Advisory Services practice within one of our offices!

CohnReznick is a hybrid firm and most of our professionals are located within a commutable distance to one of our offices. This position is considered hybrid which means team members are expected to be thoughtful and intentional in how they create opportunities for in-person collaboration. While the cadence of in-office presence is determined at the team level, our professionals are encouraged to be in the office/together in person on average 3 days a week.

This position will support our Valuation Advisory group. This group provides a wide suite of services to clients, giving you the opportunity to learn, grow, and build out your skills. As a member of this team, you’ll interact with team members across all levels within the practice.

• Prepare and oversee fair value engagements for financial reporting
• Responsible for quality control and accuracy of client deliverables;
• Perform site visits, identify various types of equipment across several industries and prepare subsequent reports;
• Improve internal processes, procedures, policies, analyses, and models;
• Develop Excel models as needed;
• Mentor staff.

Your Experience.

The successful candidate will have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business Administration, or related field;
• 3+ years of experience performing a variety of commercial real estate appraisals and consulting analyses;
• Previous experience performing fair value engagements for financial reporting a plus;
• Must hold or be working on a certified general appraisal trainee license at a minimum. Having a Certified General Real Estate Appraiser License is a plus;
• Proven experience in financial modeling and real estate, including experience with ARGUS;
• Familiarity with Report Writing software, CoStar and MLS;
• Experience and passion for Real Estate;
• Comprehensive knowledge of valuation methodologies and real estate terminology;
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
• Flexibility of work schedule to meet client needs required;
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and root cause determination skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.

In California, the salary range for an Advisory Senior Associate is $90,000 to $145,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
