Job summary

Moore & Van Allen is seeking an experienced Commercial Real Estate/Trust & Estate Paralegal to join its Charleston, SC office. This full-time role supports commercial real estate closings, reviews title and survey, drafts lease amendments and non-disturbance agreements, and tracks closing documents.

The ideal candidate has a four-year degree (or equivalent) with at least three years of CRE paralegal experience; paralegal certification preferred, plus strong MS Outlook, Word and Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Four year degree (or equivalent) with at least three years of extensive commercial real estate experience in a paralegal role.
• Paralegal certification preferred.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills, work independently, be professional, self-motivated and a team player with MS Outlook, Word and Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with commercial real estate closings, review title and survey, revise and review lease amendments, non-disturbance agreements and other documents; organize and maintain files; and prepare closing documents.
• Assist Trusts & Estates team with drafting/preparing powers of attorney, deeds, and other documents as requested.
