Job summary

CyberCoders is seeking a Real Estate Transactional Associate Attorney to represent clients in acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and secured financings in Washington DC, Richmond, or Baltimore. You will lead closings from inception through funding, coordinating with lenders, borrowers, and municipal authorities.

The role requires a JD and 3+ years in CRE transactions, with strong drafting, negotiation, and due diligence skills.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school and active bar admission in DC, VA, or MD.
• 3+ years of transactional experience with CRE and lending exposure.
• Experience with commercial loans, secured financing, and lender-side work.
• Familiarity with public finance transactions including municipal bonds is a plus.
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and closing-checklist skills.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial real estate documents (P&S, leases, easements).
• Prepare loan agreements, security instruments, intercreditor agreements, and related docs.
• Review public finance documents like trust indentures and bond documents.
• Conduct due diligence on title, survey, environmental and zoning issues.
• Coordinate closings with title companies, lenders, borrowers, and officials.
• Advise clients on regulatory, permitting, and compliance matters for CRE and municipal finance.
• Supervise junior associates and paralegals on transaction tasks.
• Provide clear client updates, risk assessments, and strategic recommendations.
