Job summary

Gornall James, a top 20 national CPA firm, is growing its Dallas real estate tax team and seeking a Senior Manager to help lead it. You will manage a portfolio of real estate clients including developers, owners, investors and funds, and lead on partnership tax, structuring, acquisitions and dispositions.

You will review complex returns, oversee engagements end to end, and develop and mentor a team at Senior and Manager level within a growing office backed by a national platform.

Qualifications

• Requires CPA license and extensive real estate tax experience.
• Experience with partnership taxation (Subchapter K) and allocations.
• Strong client-facing and business development skills.
• Experience leading teams at Senior/Manager level in a top firm.

I’m partnering with a top 20 national CPA firm that has one of the largest real estate practices in the US. They’re growing their Dallas real estate tax team and are looking for a Senior Manager to help lead it.

The opportunity

• Manage a portfolio of real estate clients, including developers, owners, investors and funds


• Lead on partnership tax, structuring, acquisitions and dispositions


• Review complex returns and oversee engagements end to end


• Develop and mentor a team that’s actively hiring at Senior and Manager level


• Work closely with leadership in a growing office, backed by a national platform

What they’re looking for

• Current Tax Senior Manager, or an experienced Manager ready to step up, from a top 100 firm


• Deep real estate tax experience, including partnership taxation (Subchapter K), allocations and transaction planning


• Strong client-facing skills and an interest in business development


• CPA license
