Real Estate Document Specialist

Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Real Estate Document Specialist to support land rights documentation and contract preparation for construction, operation, and maintenance of facilities. This role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to work independently, and a solid understanding of land-related agreements and legal descriptions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct internal due diligence to verify the accuracy and completeness of land rights documentation.
  • Identify deficiencies and initiate curative actions to resolve issues.
  • Prepare land-related contracts and agreements using preapproved templates, including rights-of-way, leases, permits, and licenses.
  • Interpret and analyze land legal descriptions to ensure compliance and clarity.
  • Apply established policies, procedures, and processes to all work activities.
  • Manage workload effectively, adapt to shifting priorities, and perform under pressure with minimal supervision.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in the Right of Way or Real Estate industry, specifically in a document-focused role.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting land legal descriptions.
  • Familiarity with various land-related agreements such as fee simple, rights-of-way, leases, temporary workspace agreements, licenses, permits, and ordinances.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
