Our client, a prominent international AmLaw 50 law firm, seeks a Senior Associate or Counsel to join its Real Estate practice in New York. The candidate will independently manage complex lender-side real estate financings from structuring through closing, with significant client interaction and collaboration across offices.

The ideal candidate has a JD from a top-tier law school, NY bar admission in good standing, and 7+ years of substantive real estate transactional experience.

Our client, a prominent international AmLaw 50 law firm, is seeking an experienced Senior Associate or Counsel to join its Real Estate practice in New York. This role is well suited for a seasoned real estate attorney with deep experience in real estate finance, particularly on the lender-side, who can independently manage complex transactions from initial structuring through closing. The position offers significant responsibility, direct client interaction, and the opportunity to work on sophisticated, high‑value real estate financings within a collaborative and dynamic environment.

Candidate Profile

• JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record
• Active Bar Admission in New York in good standing
• 7+ years of substantive real estate transactional experience

• Significant experience with real estate financing transactions, including lender representation
• Strong background in loan document drafting, negotiation, and execution
• Experience conducting and reviewing title and survey diligence
• Proven ability to independently manage transactions from structuring through closing
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and sound commercial judgment

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive Salary: Expected minimum annual salary for this position is $420,000, as determined by experience and market factors
