GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Tactical Security Officer in Kansas City, MO. You will patrol diverse environments such as retail stores and airports, read environments to anticipate risk, and respond quickly to threats to protect people and property.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• High School Diploma or GED
• Pass an extensive screening process
• First aid certification is an asset
• Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift
• Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience – a plus

Responsibilities

• Patrol sensitive areas to spot suspicious activity
• Verify identities and control access to secure areas
• React quickly to threats or incidents
• Check the proper functioning of alarms and cameras
• Document incidents and actions taken
• Respond to alarms and conduct on-site checks
• Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property

As a Security Officer – Tactical, physical ability is essential as you will be moving around your entire shift, patrolling environments such as retail stores, airports, detention centers, etc.

• Site Location: Kansas City, MO
• Set schedule:
• 1st schedule: Full-time, Friday through Monday, 1st shift, 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
• 2nd scheduled: Full-time, Friday through Monday, 2nd shift, 2:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
