Job summary

KeyBank is seeking a Real Estate Secured Compliance Officer to join the Real Estate Lending and Enterprise Default Compliance Risk Management team. The role supports mortgage and home equity origination by researching, interpreting, and applying applicable laws and regulations across processes and systems.

You will provide consultative guidance to lines of business, perform oversight, and help mitigate risk to KeyCorp and its affiliates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required; CRCM preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in compliance, risk management, auditing, or related fields (required).
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a regulatory environment (required).

Responsibilities

• Serve as the compliance SME for Home Lending Origination.
• Apply banking and consumer compliance laws to risk management strategies.
• Develop relationships of trust with the lines of business.
• Provide second line of defense oversight and monitor processes and controls, identify improvements and facilitate changes.
• Document testing results and elevate significant risks.
• Review policies and procedures for consistency with current regulations.
• Educate and provide consultative advice on various regulations.
• Provide independent review and challenge to various business activities.
• Participate in projects related to mitigating risk.
• Ensure systems used by lines of business function in a compliant manner.
