Qualifications

  • State Certified General license.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience performing or reviewing commercial appraisals.
  • Strong analytical, writing, and oral communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Self-motivated with efficient time management and deadline focus.
  • Comprehensive understanding of USPAP and federal appraisal regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate appraisals for commercial real estate collateral nationwide per JPMC policies and regulatory standards.
  • Manage the full appraisal procurement and review process, incl. scope, vendor engagement, and report review.
  • Maintain communication with vendors and internal partners to support timely progress and independence.
  • Exercise sound judgment, proactive communication, problem-solving, and independent decision-making.

Job Responsibilities
  • Evaluate appraisals for commercial real estate collateral nationwide in accordance with JPMC policies, USPAP standards, and federal regulations.
  • Manage the full appraisal procurement and review process, including scope development, vendor engagement, and report review for compliance and credibility.
  • Maintain effective communication with vendors and internal partners to support timely progress and uphold appraisal independence and integrity.
  • Exercise sound judgment, proactive communication, problem-solving, and independent decision-making.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities And Skills
  • State Certified General license.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience performing and/or reviewing commercial appraisals.
  • Strong analytical, writing, and oral communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Self-motivated, with efficient time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Comprehensive understanding of USPAP and federal appraisal regulations.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities And Skills
  • Four-year college degree; MAI or AI-GRS designation, or equivalent education/experience.
  • Collateral360/PARCEL experience is a plus.
  • Experience with leveraging AI tools.
