Confidential Employer in San Francisco is seeking a Real Estate Litigation Associate Attorney to join our growing litigation team. You will work directly with clients on real estate disputes, landlord‑tenant matters, and related civil litigation from start to finish.

The role is on-site, full-time, with mentorship and opportunities for advancement to Senior Associate or Shareholder, and a competitive compensation package with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Active California Bar membership in good standing.
• 1+ years of civil litigation experience.
• Experience with law and motion practice, discovery, and trial preparation.
• Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases, prioritize deadlines, and work independently and collaboratively.
• Experience in real estate or landlord‑tenant litigation is preferred.
• Familiarity with administrative proceedings, writs, appeals, or land‑use matters is a plus.
• Proficiency with legal research tools and standard office software.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in real estate disputes, landlord‑tenant litigation, and other civil litigation matters.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
• Conduct legal research and develop effective litigation strategies.
• Handle discovery, assist with depositions, and prepare cases for trial.
• Represent clients in court hearings, administrative proceedings, and other legal matters.
• Communicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
• Negotiate settlements and help clients achieve favorable resolutions.
• Collaborate with experienced attorneys on complex cases while developing greater independence and responsibility.
