Kriss & Feuerstein LLP, a premier Real Estate Boutique Law Firm in New York, seeks an Associate with 3-5 years of solid experience in Commercial Litigation focused on commercial mortgage foreclosures and secured creditor enforcement. Candidates must be admitted to the New York Bar, with New Jersey admission preferred.

You will draft and argue motions, manage pleadings and discovery, handle state and federal court appearances and mediations, and engage in client interaction.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of solid experience in Commercial Litigation.
• Focus on commercial mortgage foreclosures and secured creditor enforcement.
• Admitted to practice in New York; New Jersey admission preferred.
• Excellent legal research and writing; strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Ability to draft pleadings, motions, discovery documents, and appeals.

Responsibilities

• Independently handling all aspects of secured financing enforcement proceedings.
• Drafting and arguing dispositive motions and injunction papers.
• Diligence related to the purchase and sale of notes and mortgages.
• Preparing pleadings, motions, discovery documents, and appeals.
• Handling State and Federal Court appearances and mediations.
