Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a motivated university student to join our real estate finance team as a debt investments intern. You will assist in evaluating CRE debt investments across property types and geographies, and support data gathering and market research.

You will help build and update financial models, including cash flow projections and Argus analyses, under supervision, and coordinate with internal teams during due diligence and closing processes.

Qualifications

• GPA 3.0 or higher required.
• Enrolled in accredited bachelor’s program with graduation between Dec 2027 and May 2028.
• Understanding of real estate and finance terminology preferred.
• Strong quantitative and analytical abilities, with excellent organization.

• Assist in gathering and analyzing market, economic, and legal data relevant to potential investments.
• Help build and update financial models, including cash flow projections, Argus models, and sensitivity analyses, under the guidance of senior team members.
• Assist in the due diligence and closing process for new debt originations by preparing materials and coordinating with internal teams and external partners.

Requirements

• Candidates must be enrolled in an accredited bachelor’s program graduating between December 2027 and May 2028
• Minimum GPA of 3.0

• Strong quantitative skills and proven analytical ability
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
